CPI Inflation, Interest Rates, Biden Tariffs, and more discussed in this 10-minute episode.
Hi Friends!
In today’s episode, I explain the latest hot inflation report, why mortgage rates won’t come down for a while, the cost of Biden’s and Trump’s tariff nonsense, and more. Thank you for subscribing and sharing this newsletter with others!

I cover the following:
New CPI inflation report shows that it remains elevated at 3.4% over the last year, real average weekly earnings are now down 4.4% since Biden took office, and the Fed needs to cut its balance sheet faster.
Biden doubles down on Trump’s bad tariff practices. I explain how this will raise taxes on those earning less than $400K per year despite his claim that he wouldn’t raise their taxes, along with the fact he’s admitting Bidenomics is failing, as I discussed on the Sean Hannity Show.
I explain the high cost of these tariffs and the failure of Bidenomics in my recent interview on NTD News (watch here) and on the Lars Larson Show.
Texas’ government schools are fully funded, NOT UNDERFUNDED, based on the state’s school finance formulas, which Republicans and Democrats approved in nearly every budget cycle. But the teacher union folks always want more taxpayer money despite failing test scores and proficiency rates by students.
Some government schools are running deficits because they aren’t budgeting properly. They spent too much temporary federal funding on ongoing expenses and budgeted $6 billion more funding that never materialized last year. Here’s an example of Deer Park ISD.
This is at a time when enrollment is declining for many districts. They don’t need more money; parents need more choices! The government school system is the biggest subsidy for the “rich” in Texas at about $18K per student annually. Why are progressives in favor of subsidies for the “rich” but not universal ESAs at a lower cost per student, thereby lowering property taxes? It's likely because they want control over your kids.
