In the Budget session in January I pressured the Wyoming Legislature to TOTALLY ELIMINATE property tax and replace it with a 2% increase in Wyoming State sales tax, to 6%. That 6% is also to be applied to sales of all real estate. Yes, you pay sales tax when you buy real estate, but NEVER pay property tax on it.
